Minature Flying Scotsman steams into town

A small-scale replica of the iconic steam locomotive Flying Scotsman is now in residence at Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, the popular visitor attraction in Lottbridge Drove. Railway boss Mike Wadey said, “It is absolutely fantastic that we have been able to acquire this prestigious engine for our railway”. The new engine, image of the original which entered service on the East Coast mainline in 1923, will be in regular use hauling passengers and when resting will be on display.
