Police are appealing for witnesses to the fight on Eastbourne Road on Saturday night (March 30).

The two men then left the takeaway and headed in the direction of the Bay Hotel. They reported they were then beaten up by a group of men after being followed further along the road outside the Beach Tavern.
Two men, aged 34 and 50, have been arrested on suspicion of a racial or religious related public order offence and bailed until April 21 while investigations continue.
