A man became trapped when the car he was working on fell on top of him.
The emergency services were called to Clementine Avenue in Seaford just after 11.15am yesterday (Friday, August 5).
Firefighters freed the man and he was given oxygen at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
It is believed the jack gave way, causing the vehicle to fall.
The incident happened just half an hour before another man was injured when a car he was working on in Birling Way in Uckfield fell and trapped him.
The man was taken to hospital. There has been no update on the man’s condition as of this morning (Saturday, August 6).
A Sussex Police spokesman said the two incidents are not linked.
