A man is facing three charges after a stabbing outside a Hailsham pub.

An incident involving a knife took place outside the Corn Exchange pub in the High Street on January 2.

Barry John Gwyer, 58, unemployed, of Bellbrooks Road, Hailsham, is charged with wounding a 45-year-old man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm, with an attempt to wound a 52-year-old man with intent to cause him GBH and with criminal damage caused to the doors of the pub.

He has been bailed to appear at Hastings Magistrates Court on June 22.
