Man charged after Eastbourne betting shop robbery

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a suspected armed robbery in Eastbourne last week.

Ryan Skinner, 30, a builder, of Wilmington Square, Eastbourne, was arrested and subsequently charged with robbery and having an imitation firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He was arrested following a suspected armed robbery at the Ladbrokes betting shop in Carlisle Road on Tuesday (April 5).

Skinner appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (April 7) and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Thursday, May 5.
