POLEGATE’S Royal Mail delivery office will be temporarily closed for seven weeks while building works are carried out.
The office will be relocated to the Hailsham facility, around three and a half miles away, from Saturday, March 19 to May 9.
A full range of enquiry facilities, including the collection of mail, will be available at Hailsham Delivery Office at 11 North Street.
The Hailsham office is open from Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 5.30pm, and on Saturday from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
“There should be no impact on mail deliveries during this time,” said a Royal Mail Spokesman.
