Results from Eastbourne Magistrates’ Court, sitting at Hastings, for November 20 - November 28.

November 20:

Ali-Asghar Karbalaei-Hadi, 49, of South Street, Eastbourne, was fined £220 for parking on a zebra crossing. The offence took place at Seaside Road, Eastbourne, on January 15. His driving record was endorsed with three penalty points.

November 21:

Nahid Ahmed, 24, of Handbridge Square, Chester, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes vehicle on Langley Road, Eastbourne, on April 24, while disqualified from driving. 
He also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance, on the same date, and to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when required to do so by police under the Road Traffic Act 1988. 
He also pleaded guilty to obstructing a police officer. The court made a community order with a requirement of 60 hours of unpaid work and banned him from driving for one year.

Abu Sali, 29, of Mallard Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to damaging the rear window of a Citroen vehicle. The offence took place at Hailsham on May 10. The court made a community order.

Stephen Saunders, 27, of Dallington Road, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. The offence took place at Terminus Road, Eastbourne on October 6. He was given a one-year conditional discharge.

Judith Elizabeth-Thresher, 29, of Sumach Close, Eastbourne, pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Fredrick Road, Hastings, on May 25, with cannabis and cocaine in her blood stream. She also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence. She was fined £100 and banned from driving for 20 months.

November 23:

Roger Kemp, 49, of Priory Road, Hastings, was found guilty of driving a Range Rover dangerously, on Albert Road, Polegate, on January 9. He was also found guilty of racially aggravated threatening behaviour on the same date. The court made a community order and fined him £100 for the driving offence. He was fined £150 and ordered to pay £350 compensation for the threatening behaviour offence.

November 28:

Jamie Mcrae, 25, of Hollamby Park, Hailsham, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Chalvington Road, Hailsham, on June 2 with cocaine and cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £120 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Robert Richards, 45, of Springfield Road, Brighton, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall vehicle on Meads Road, Eastbourne, on November 9, while over the drink drive limit. He gave a breath alcohol reading of 67 micrograms. The legal limit is 35 micrograms. He was fined £450 and banned from driving for three years.
