Lifeboat and coastguard helicopter attend incident off Eastbourne coast
Emergency services including the coastguard helicopter were called to an incident off the Eastbourne coast last night (April 30).
The Eastbourne RNLI lifeboat joined members of the coastguard as crews carried out a search and rescue following a report a person was in the water.
A spokesman for the lifeboat station said the area was searched and the person was found by the pier safe and well.
