Continue into the customer waiting area, a host of Jaguar memorabilia fills the walls, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, even a workshop viewing bay providing customers with a 180 degree view of the clean modern workshop, but why have they gone to these great lengths.

The attention to detail does not stop there, extensive investment has been made to ensure that the latest tooling, computer software and diagnostic equipment is utilised.
These measures are undertaken to ensure that dealer levels of service and maintenance are provided for all Jaguar models including vehicles below three years of age without invalidating the Mechanical Warranty provided by Jaguar.
Since the closure of Eastbourne’s Jaguar main dealer, the influx of new customers requiring Jaguar maintenance has been outstanding.
To meet the demand for quality maintenance, JAGtechnic has appointed two further members of staff including a Jaguar factory trained ‘Master-Technician’ to oversee the daily management of the workshop and provide in-house training on all of the latest models.
The ‘Classic & Heritage’ side of the company has become something of a speciality with a large customer base, including Jaguar Heritage and some international clients.
JAGtechnic was recently entrusted by Jaguar Heritage with the engine rebuild of their valuable 1956 Long Noise D-type raced by Mike Hawthorn back in 1956 at Le Mans.
This soon grew to a brake and suspension overhaul too. Heritage must have been impressed as they were asked to provide both preparation and back up for the 2011 Mille Miglia.
The company has also recently launched a referral reward scheme known as Elite Rewards.
Mr Chipp-Smith said, “We have quite simply set up a rewards scheme which entitles our customers to a discount of £100 off an annual service for having referred five new customers.
“The scheme benefits the company by saving on expensive advertising whilst providing loyal customers with exceptional savings.”
