THE WINDMILL: The windmill at Windmill Hill is now fully restored and able to grind flour using the power of the wind for the first time in 120 years. This could not have been achieved without the help of the many supporters and volunteers and, to say thank you, they are holding a celebratory event and official opening on Saturday May 14. The event will run from noon until 3pm with the opening ceremony, to be conducted by James Braxton, taking place at 12.30pm. Following the ceremony there will be guided tours of the windmill. Drinks and light refreshments will be available. We are asking people to arrive by 12.15pm for the opening ceremony at 12.30pm.
