Eastbourne’s Shiatsu community will be doing massages for free to raise cash for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
The event will take place on July 18 at the Natural Fitness Centre on Eastbourne seafront between 9.30 and 4.30pm.
Payment for the massage is made via a donation to St Wilfrid’s Hospice and the organisers of the day suggest a minimum of £10.
Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork based on the theoretical framework of traditional Chinese medicine.
In the Japanese language, shiatsu means finger pressure. Shiatsu techniques include massages with fingers, thumbs, and palms, assisted stretching and joint manipulation and mobilization.
Shiatsu is received fully clothed.
