Harley Night takes place in Eastbourne tomorrow (Wednesday June 29) as part of a Family Fun Day at the top end of Terminus Road.

More than 200 of the classic bikes are set to roar into town at 6pm.

Throughout the day at the seafront end of the road, which traders call the Boulevard, there will be a street market, entertainment and live music.

“We are delighted to welcome the John Shaw Harley Night to Eastbourne this Wednesday and hope you will join us to welcome them to the town with their mouthwatering metal,” said Christina Ewbank from Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce.

“Come to the seafront end of Terminus Road between T J Hughes and The Belgian Cafe this Wednesday to see and hear this terrific display of bikes.”

Christina and Herald chief reporter Annemarie Field will be arriving on the back of the classic bikes.

Christina said, “Annemarie and I will be riding into town on the back of a Harley so we will need to dig out our leathers and jeans.

“This stretch of road will again take on a really continental feel with people strolling along the Boulevard, enjoying food, drinks and entertainment. The tables and chairs will be spilling on to the pavement without the interruption of traffic. Come along and join us. It’s going to be great fun.”

There are plans for The Boulevard fun days to continue throughout the summer on the last Wednesday of each month.
