HAILSHAM Old Pavilion is the venue for an open day on Saturday August 6.
Visitors may pop along any time between 10am-12pm to have a look round Hailsham’s cinema and fine arts venue. They will have the chance to have a look behind the scenes, take a tour of the projection room and chat with the staff and volunteers who run the Pavilion.
A spokesman said, “Things are changing rapidly in the film industry and projection rooms like the one at the Pavilion will soon be replaced with digital technology.
“This may be your last chance to see a fully functional cinema projection room.”
Entry is free and is open to all.
There will be refreshments, a tombola, merchandise stalls and the chance to enter a lucky seat competition for a chance to win a cinema ticket for a year.
