A DAREDEVIL fundraiser is set to take to the skies again to raise money for terminally ill children.

Carole Pope, manager of the Demelza shop in High Street Hailsham took part in a skydive last month which raised £4000 for the charity which provides hospice care for children across Sussex.

Her first words on landing safely were, “I want to do it again!”

She said she felt so exhilarated she keen to repeat the feat next year.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children has a team of community nurses providing hospice care in the homes of 125 families with children with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions in East Sussex and West Kent.

Carole was coupled for the dive with ex-pilot “Polly” Parrot from Heathfield.

She said her main worry as she started the jump was whether she might lose her contact lenses on the way down!
