The annual JPK Charity Golf Day has raised more than £11,000.
Thirty teams played 18 holes at Willingdon Golf Club.
The event was organised by Chris Rose and the committee at the golf club in South Down Road.
After the round, there was a dinner, prize giving, auction and entertainment with Ian Irvine was held in the evening.
The whole event raised an impressive £11,178.00 for the JPK project, which is hoping to build a residential centre for people with a learning disability on the former Edgmond Church site in Old Town.
Jill Parker MBE, founder of the charity, said, “The JPK extends their very grateful thanks to Chris and his team for all their hard work and to the sponsors, donors and players who participated so generously and made it such a successful event.
“You have all made a difference.”
All the money raised will go towards the project.
