The Festival includes all kinds of events, from popular and classical music, dance, theatre, comedy, Artist’s Open House, exhibitions, indeed any opportunity you can think of to showcase your artistic work.

Whether you have previously organised an event or artist’s open house in the Eastbourne Festival or would like to become involved with the festival in any way, go along to an introduction evening at the Birley Centre in Carlisle Road, Eastbourne on  November 9 at 6.30pm.

The event is designed to give people who want to organise festival events, or volunteer their time, information on how to become involved.

Organisers of previous events will have an opportunity of meeting each other and sharing their experiences – both the triumphs and the failures – and new organisers can learn from their expertise.
This will also be a chance to find out what other events are being planned and to meet artists who intend to open up their homes as Artists’ Open Houses.

Helen Warren, Eastbourne Festival press secretary, “We hope anyone with an interest in the Festival will come along and join us for a glass of wine, ask questions or make suggestions for next year.
