GCSE RESULTS: Seaford Head School “tremendously proud” at best-ever results

Seaford Head School’s acting headteacher Helen Key is “tremendously proud” after students recorded the school’s best-ever set of GCSE results.

A huge amount of hard work and commitment from students and staff led to 71.51 per cent of students achieving five A*-C grades including Mathematics and English - the second year running that results have exceeded 70 per cent.

One hundred per cent of students achieved an A*-C grade in French, Physics, Chemistry and Music, with more than 90 per cent achieving an A*-C grade in Biology, Food Technology and Media Studies. Eighty per cent of students gained a C grade or above in GCSE English Language and Maths.

Many individual students did exceptionally well, with 24 students achieving eight A*-A grades.

The staff and governors are absolutely delighted with these results and would like to congratulate all Seaford Head students on their achievements this year.

Mrs Key said, “I am tremendously proud of the students, achieving the school’s best-ever set of GCSE results. Well done to everyone.”
