A total of £1,900 was raised by the golfers and locals of the Seven Sisters pub in Willingdon.
The Squeaky Clean Golf Society held its charity day for Polegate-based Children with Cancer Fund at Wellshurst Golf Club.
A good time was had by all, despite the poor weather, and Phil Wilkinson won the tournament.
Runner up was Stuart Mole who also got a trophy for nearest the pin.
The golfers returned to the Seven Sisters Pub for a barbeque, raffle and disco courtesy of pub landlord Keith Abbott .
Keith has long supported the Children with Cancer Fund. Paul Ide, proprieter of Squeaky Clean, organised the day and Pan Patel of the Nisa Shop in Firle Road donated £500 to boost the total.
