THE last week of term saw a double-whammy of fun at one local infants school.
Pupils at West Rise were treated to an end of year mufti day and party on July 20.
Youngsters and staff both encouraged to don their glad rags and tuck in to a slap up party tea – complete with cakes, cheese straws and party ring biscuits.
And the day before saw children bring their favourite toy to school with them – with teddy bears, monster trucks, dolls and action figures replacing calculators and pens in the classrooms.
Pupils were also treated to a face-painting – with the tiger look proving particularly popular.
