Former Eastbourne chemist to open as wine bar?

A former pharmacy in Eastbourne town centre could soon have a new lease of life as a wine bar.

Work has been underway for some weeks converting the former Boots Pharmacy in Station Parade into two units.

And an application has also been submitted to Eastbourne council for a new premises licence in the name of Taylors Wine Bar at 6 Station Parade.

The application is to serve alcohol from 11am to 11pm Monday to Sunday with opening hours from 7am to 11pm Mondays to Saturdays and 9am to 11pm on Sundays.

Members of the council’s licensing committee will make a decision on the application.
