Dust of your denim, put on your dancin’ shoes and join the production of the smash hit musical Footloose this August.

This spectacular musical, based on the 1980’s hit film starring Kevin Bacon, is the focus of this year’s Summer Youth Project, at the White Rock Theatre, Hastings.

Full of electrifyin’ dance routines to classic 1980’s hits, Footloose is sure to get your hearts racing and feet tapping, so why not join for fantastic summer fun while places last.

Life in small-town Bomont is peaceful until City boy, Ren, arrives. Breaking every taboo, Ren brings dance back to the heart of the town held back by the memory of tragedy.

Exploding with dance energy and sensational musical numbers, Footloose is guaranteed to get you to your feet.

The Summer Youth Projects are renowned within the area with more than 100 participants spending just two weeks to produce some of the best musicals around.

Past projects have included Fame, We Will Rock You and High School Musical 2, and this year the challenge lies with the hit dance show, Footloose!

The White Rock Theatre is looking for performers to join this year’s Summer Youth Project. If you’re a budding singer, dancer or actor between the ages of nine and 19, have enthusiasm, and want the chance to work with a professional creative team and a live band this summer, then contact the White Rock Theatre now by emailing or calling Nikke Leach 01424 462287.
