IT’S not just footballers who are put through their paces at Eastbourne Borough FC - now supporters have got the chance to get their fitness levels up.

Bookings are now being taken for the first-ever EBFC Fitness Boot Camp, to be held at the club’s Priory Lane every week for a month, initially, starting Wednesday (June 8) at 6.15pm.

The one-hour sessions are open to adults of any age and fitness level and will be taken by the club’s very own personal fitness coach, Peter Lock.

The sessions will be outdoors, so dress accordingly, and changing facilities will be available.

Registration will take place at 6.15pm each session, with the fitness training starting at 6.30pm.

Everyone enrolling for the first time will be required to complete a brief health questionnaire before their first session.

Numbers are limited so to ensure your place, send an e-mail to Eastbourne Borough FC commercial manager Lorna Gosling at

The cost is £5 per session for the club’s season ticket holders and members of Langney Sports Club, which is to be paid direct to Peter on the night. This is a new initiative from Eastbourne Borough FC and, if successful, will become a weekly fixture.
