Firefighters were called to an incident at Eastbourne District General Hospital on Tuesday (June 11).

Crews rushed to the hospital in Kings Drive after receiving a call at 10.12am.

Three litres of fuel had been spilled on the road outside the building’s main entrance.

Crews used professional equipment to clear the road, said a spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
