East Sussex Fire and Rescure Service (ESFRS) is calling for volunteers to support its community teams.
The service is looking for people who would like to get involved in the community and use their knowledge and skills to lend a hand.
There are a diverse amount of roles available, from giving individual support to people in their own homes to helping at community fire and road safety events.
EFRS is particularly looking for volunteers for specialised roles, where community volunteers team up with Safe & Well professionals to visit people in their homes and offer advice and guidance.
Applicants will need to be confident and good at talking to members of the public, particularly elderly or vulnerable people, and have good observational skills and attention to detail.
The ESFRS needs people with time to spare, preferably during the week, although activities are available on weekends and evenings.
