Fire in Hampden Park

Emergency services have rushed to a fire in Hampden Park this afternoon (October 30).

Crews were sent to a house in Kingston Road just after midday.

On arrival, firefighters discovered the garage was well ablaze.

They used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to fight the flames, said the fire service.

All persons were accounted for, according to East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, and no one was reported as harmed.

A fire investigation is due to take place later on today.
