East Sussex Fire and Rescue crews were called out last night (Tuesday June 21) to help a man who had fallen down a steep bank and into a stream at the junction of Wick Street and Highbarn Road, Upper Dicker.
The Swift Water Rescue Team was stood down as the man was in slow-running water, but crews used a 10.5m ladder and water safety kit to rescue him.
He was then transferred into the care of the ambulance service.
