Fire crews rescue flooded car in Pevensey


Fire crews have rescued the driver of car which became stuck in standing water in Pevensey.

The car became stuck on Rattle Road in Westham, which was closed after flooding from the heavy weather on Monday morning made it unpassable to cars.

Fire crews attended the scene at around 3.50pm on Monday August 24.

A fire service pump was still at Rattle Road at 4.30pm but the scene has been given the all-clear.
