Snowy Christmas trees, lanterns and woodland creatures will all be part of the Nordic Trail next to River Island, that will be free for youngsters from 11am until 4pm for four weekends starting December 1.

Children will be welcomed to the trail by a Nordic helper who will give them a snow cape to wear to keep then snug on their winter journey. First stop on the trail will be to make their own Nordic wooden Christmas tree to take home and keep.

They will then discover a small gift that will be left for them by Nordic elf Tomte in Christmas slippers in front of a cosy fireplace before they are invited to visit Father Christmas in his own little Nordic nook.

Arndale Centre manager Bill Plumridge said, “Christmas is a magical time for children and our Nordic Trail really captures what this special time is all about. I know the elves are really excited about helping local children explore the trail where they can meet Father Christmas and tell him their wishes for the big day.”

Don’t miss the Nordic Trail in the Eastbourne Arndale Centre on December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23 from 11am until 4pm.
