Family pay tribute to Hailsham woman who died in crash

The family of a Hailsham woman who died in a road collision on Sunday (August 25) have paid tribute to her as the ‘best Nan in the world’.

Pamela Minshall’s family said, “Pam Minshall, aged 74, was taken from us, her family, on the B2104 Ersham Road, Hailsham, East Sussex, on the evening of 25 August 2013.

“She will be sorely missed by everyone privileged to have known her and the hole she leaves can never be filled.

“Pam was a large and colourful character, a ‘one off’ as a friend has said, who enjoyed life to the full with a large circle of friends.

“She was a passionate football supporter who always read the back page of the paper before the front, and an Arsenal season ticket holder.

“She was a wonderful mum to two children and the ‘best Nan in the world’ to six grandchildren. The funeral, when arranged, will be a celebration of Pam’s love for life and her family.”

Pam, of Jasmine Green, Hailsham, died when her blue Hyundai IX20 was in collision with a black Peugeot 207.
