EXTRA trains are being put on to ferry people from Eastbourne to London during the Olympics and Paralympics.
Train operators Southern Rail has not only scheduled extra services during the Games but is also adding more carriages to those already running.
Eastbourne is one of a host of southern stations to benefit from the additional services.
The train firm has used information supplied by Games organisers who can see from the ticket order information where people need to get back to.
There will also be extra staff during the Games, who will be joined by a small army of volunteers to try and make sure busy stations are manned throughout the international sporting showcase.
Non-foldable bikes will be banned from many services during London 2012 because they take up too much space.
