Two women from Eastbourne have today (Monday) appeared on the BBC’s Bargain Hunt programme.

Rachel Bourne, a police officer based at Hammonds Drive in Eastbourne, and Glenda McQueen, a court usher, were in the Blue Team on the lunchtime programme, which was filmed at Ardingly.

The show features two teams of amateur collectors who have an hour at antiques fairs and must acquire the best bargains possible on a budget of £300 before selling them on at auction.

The team which makes the most profit wins.

Rachel and Glenda picked up some unusual antiques but if you want to find out how they got on in the programme, you can catch it on the BBC iplayer.

Tim Wonnacott presents the programme.
