Eastbourne scooter stunt rider Dante Hutchinson has been selected to compete in the Pro Scooter Series in Australia.
The 14-year-old had a dream of riding scooters at a pro level when he was nine.
He first amazed the crowds at Eastbourne Extreme in 2010, proving to be one of the star attractions and thrilled hundreds with his fearless tricks and smooth style.
He also signed a professional deal with American giants Team Lucky in 2013.
Dante has ranked 10th in the World Championships, 2nd in the European Championships and 1st in the south of England.
He was voted King of the Skatepark by Nickelodeon viewers last year.
His mother, Sian, said: “Dante has dreamed of riding in Australia and USA where extreme sports and many of his team riders are in abundance.
“He has been selected to go to the Pro Scooter Series, a competition in Australia with a prize purse of $22,000.”
Dante needs the public’s vote in order to go.
Voting closes 4pm (UK time) on Friday, July 31.
