Drivers can expect delays in Eastbourne as fresh roadworks begin later this month.

A lane of Lottbridge Drove will closed for three weeks between October 5 and 30 for works by East Sussex County Council.

The work by MLP contractors is to create a new road access to Lottbridge Drove.

Elsewhere in Eastbourne, Eversfield Road will be closed from October 5 to 9 to allow cranes access to a nearby building site.

A set of temporary traffic lights will set-up on Silverdale road from October 7 to 9, to allow for road patching.

Another set of traffic lights will be set-up on East Dean Road near the junction with Longland Road from October 5 to 22 while the County Council replace pipes under the road.

Nearby Dacre road will be closed for several weeks from November 16 and December 4 for works on Victoria Drive.
