Eastbourne road closed due to unstable scaffolding
An Eastbourne road has been closed by the fire service after strong winds destabilised scaffolding.
Carlisle Road has been cordoned off after scaffolding appeared to be unstable in the face of strong wind and driving rain.
Sussex has been braced for wind speeds of up to 80mph and the extreme weather is already causing havoc across the county.
Fire crews are at the scene waiting for the scaffold company.
