Eastbourne Police seek man wanted at magistrates court
Police are seeking an Eastbourne man who failed to turn up at court on a drugs charge.
Lewis Davies, 23, of no fixed address, was detained in Terminus Road on October 7 last year and reported for possessing a quantity of cannabis, a class B controlled drug.
He was due to attend Hastings magistrates’ court on December 21 to answer the allegation but failed to do so.
He has not been seen since and is now wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court.
Davies is described as white, 6’, skinny with brown hair.
PC Dan Toft, of the Eastbourne neighbourhood policing team, said, “I am keen to trace Davies, as although wanted for a fairly low-level offence, he has completely disregarded all warnings to hand himself in.”
Anyone who may have seen Davies or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police online here quoting Operation Goliath.
