Eastbourne MP criticised for opening event that celebrates women
The town's MP has been criticised for opening an event honouring the '˜hidden women' of the town's past.
Former MP Caroline Ansell said Stephen Lloyd’s opening of the Wayfinder Women’s ‘Women in Eastbourne’ exhibition on Friday (January 12) was ‘a spectacular missed opportunity’ as there were plenty of ‘outstanding’ female role models present who could have done the job.
