Two motorists from Eastbourne were injured following a crash in Bexhill yesterday (Tuesday).
Police attended the A259 at Barnhord Road at 4.30pm following a serious collision between three vehicles which saw the A259 closed for two hours.
A vehicle heading eastbound collided with two other cars heading west.
A 51-year old man from Eastbourne driving one of the cars was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with hip injuries, while a 48-year-old Eastbourne woman driving another car was treated at the scene for slight head injuries.
One of the drivers, a 32-year old woman from St Leonards, was taken to the Conquest Hospital with leg and shoulder injuries.

Police would like to thank motorists for their patience while the road was closed so that casualties could be attended to, vehicles were recovered and the scene was examined.
