Eastbourne man robbed by teenagers

Police are appealing for witnesses to street robbery in Eastbourne on Saturday (January 31).

The victim, a 20-year-old man from the town, was walking in Bourne Street in Eastbourne at around 5.30pm on Saturday, when he was approached by three teenagers.

They demanded money and threatened him before stealing his wallet and ipod.

DC Laura James said, “The victim was thankfully not injured in the robbery although he was pushed over. He describes the three teenagers as between 14 and 16.

“One was slim, white, around 5’8” with short brown hair and wearing a light grey hoody and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

“The second one was also slim, white and around 5’8” with short dark hair and wearing a dark coloured hoody and dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

“The third one was white and also wearing a hoody.
