Eastbourne man in court over sex offences

Daniel Graham Turner, 29, a cleaner, of Cavendish Place, Eastbourne, appeared at Hove Crown Court recently charged with a string of sexual offences against a child.

He was charged with the rape of a girl under 16, causing or inciting a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity, eight counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child and distributing an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child.

He was acquitted by the jury for the rape charge and convicted of the other sex charges.

He will be sentenced at the end of July.
