Eastbourne lifeboat rescues stricken vessel

Eastbourne lifeboat has rescued a stricken vessel after it became stranded in the Channel this afternoon (February 11).

The lifeboat was called to the scene at around 3.45pm after the boat’s sole crew member reported engine troubles.

The crew found the stricken vessel around three miles from Sovereign Harbour and helped tow it back into port.
