Drugs worth tens of thousands found in Eastbourne raid

Drugs with a street value of tens of thousands of pounds have been discovered during a raid at a property in Eastbourne this week.

Three men were arrested on Tuesday (December 11) by police officers undertaking a plain clothes operation in the town centre and are due to appear in court today (Thursday).

A spokesperson at Sussex Police said following activities observed in Tideswell Road and Wellesley Road on Monday (December 10), officers were deployed to the area the following day and arrested the three men - two from an address in Longstone Road and the third in Cavendish Place.

Police said Mariglen Delibazhi, 21, unemployed of Longstone Road, Eastbourne, has been charged with conspiring to supply a class A controlled drug - cocaine and conspiring to supply a class B controlled drug.

Engjell Dosti, 21, unemployed and also of Longstone Road, Eastbourne, has been charged with conspiring to supply a class A controlled drug - cocaine, conspiring to supply a class B controlled drug and possessing or controlling identity documents with intent.

Klement Dani, 30, unemployed, of no fixed address, has been charged with possessing or controlling identity documents with intent.

The three are currently in custody and due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
