ARLINGTON GETS CAJUN: It’s here again. On Saturday 16 July Arlington gets Cajun is back. Last year was deamed to be the best yet, with £1000 raised for MS Society, but this year we’re going to smash that. The evening is going to start a little earlier and finish a little later this time and with the superb Dave Beckett (laid back blues), Strum’n’Bass (back by popular request), Rough Chowder) and hosts, The Cajun Dawgs with Friends, it is going to be another night to remember. There will be bar (proceeds to the Village Hall who kindly donate the use of the hall and field) and BBQ run by and in aid of Demelza House Childrens Hospice. WORLD WAR II WEEKEND: Michelham Priory’s popular WW2 event will this year run over 18 and 19 June giving you all a chance to come and take a step back into the 1940’s and learn more about life during WW2. There will be 1940’s entertainment, vehicles and displays, WWII themed food, artefacts, music and more! Full list of the weekend’s activities and displays at www.sussexpast.co.uk.
