NOTICE TO ALL DOG WALKERS: We have some sheep grazing the land in the area (the field boarding warren road, and by the golf course). This morning whilst checking the sheep, the shepherd found the electric wire cut, and the unit used to keep the sheep in their rightful areas stolen. The sheep are not only doing a job of controlling the ragwort from encroaching on the wild flowers in order to keep the land in a condition for people to walk on and enjoy, but they are due to give birth in the coming months, and it is extremely dangerous for them to stray from these areas, this could cause a serious incident such as an RTA. The field in question has no public right of way but we have accepted people using it to exercise their dogs, we have even added stiles to help people learn to respect the fencing and keep yourselves and our animals safe. Lastly in light of recent dog attacks on sheep in Sussex, it is absolutely essential that all dogs are kept on leads whilst near the sheep, please do this regardless of how well behaved your animals are. We would be grateful if anyone who resides in the area could share this post and help to stop this criminal damage. This is a very serious matter and now classed as a criminal offence, if anyone has any information please come forwards and contact Ben Carr 07785272825. Sussex police are now in awareness of this matter and will be keeping a close eye on the area. Please see the map to make yourselves familiar with where the sheep are grazing.
