FOOT NOTES: Well it looks as though summer has at last decided to make an appearance, and Jack and myself have been making the most of it. We have visited one or two village fetes and had our fair share of cream teas, Jack is particularly partial to a scone and would wolf the lot if I let him.
He was a bit of a disappointment to one elderly lady on Eastbourne Pier this week, who decided to buy him an ice cream to himself, thinking he would lick it whilst she held it. Alas it doesn’t work that way with Jack, who took the whole thing in his mouth and swallowed it virtually complete. Laughter all round and a lovely afternoon spent by the sea. Enjoy your week and the sunshine.
