PEVENSEY AND WESTHAM FLOWER Club: meet on the third Tuesday of the month at Westham Village Hall at 7pm. While the majority of their monthly meetings give the opportunity to practice the art of flower-arranging, the next meeting on Tuesday 21st March will be their ‘Spring Demonstration’ with NAFAS accredited demonstrator Sue Flight providing an entertaining evening with her floral creations. The entrance fee is just £5.00 for non-members, to include refreshments! Everyone is welcome, plus there is a chance to win one of the created floral displays in the raffle – what’s not to like!?!

CAr theft: Between January 19 and February 19 of this year there have been seven reported incidents of stolen Land Rovers in Lewes and Wealden. Six have been Land Rover Defenders and only one was a Range Rover. On two occasions the stolen vehicles have been found abandoned in Surrey, one of the recovered vehicles was found to have had false plates fitted to it. If you own a Landrover Defender please be vigilent.

Hearing help: on the second Saturday of each month (March 11 is the next date), NHS Hearing Aid Batteries can be changed at Kamsons Pharmacy, Mimram Road, Stone Cross.
