APOLOGIES: First of all my apologies to St. Leonard’s Lunchtime Concert’s, last week it was published they were having a performance on Saturday July 4 but it is tomorrow, July 11.
LUNCHTIME CONCERT: At St. Leonard’s Church tomorrow, Saturday, from 1pm. Dr Alan Thurlow will be performing an Organ Recital.
He was Master of Choristers at Chichester Cathedral from 1980 to 2008 also a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and the Royal School of Church Music. On his retirement from Chichester Cathedral in 2008 Alan received a Civic Award from the City of Chichester.
The concert last approximately one hour and entry is free although there is a retiring collection.
SEAFORD MUSEUM: Seaford Museum and Heritage Centre, Martello Tower is having a session for anyone who is interested in becoming one of their volunteer’s. Come along and discuss what skills are required and find out what opportunities there are.

SUMMER CONCERT: Seaford Choral Society Summer Concert is being held at St Andrew’s Church, Alfriston tomorrow, Saturday, starting at 7pm. There will be selection of European choral songs from across the ages. Tickets are £10 and £5 for children 16 years and under from Newberry Tully Estate Agents, Church Street or on the door.
THE SYNERGY THEATRE: Are performing King Lear at The Crouch Gardens, East Street at 7pm.
There will be two performances the first tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. Bring something to sit on and warm clothes. Tickets are £12 and £10 available from Seaford Tourist Information Centre and Newberry Tully Estate Agent both in Church Street.
BOOT FAIR: Boot, Craft and Produce Fair at The Martello Fields on Sunday from 9am to 1pm free entry and parking. For stall holders 7.30am (pitch fee £8). Organised by Rotary Club, Seaford.
SEA SUNDAY: (Annual service in aid of the Mission to Seafarer’s) is taking place at St Andrew’s Church, Bishopstone Village 10.15am on Sunday.
GARDEN PARTY: A Garden Party and Cream Tea is being held at 36 Headland Avenue, on Thursday from 2pm. Tickets are £4 which includes the cream tea.
There will be plant and bric-a-brac stalls, bottle tombola and lots more. Tickets are available from Joy Graham Hyde 01323 892171 and Sue Ward 01323 894848 Seaford Afternoon Flower Club.
