ARMED FORCES DAY: This is on Saturday June 27 from 11am to 4pm. Look out for the official programme at local shops and Seaford Tourist Information Centre, Church Street for just 50p.
FLOWER FESTIVAL: A Flower Festival is being held at St Peter’s Church, Belgrave Road for three days from Friday to Sunday, June 26 to 28. This popular festival is once more guiding light will be Aileen Murray, a long standing member of the church who has conceived and organised the festival since 1991 and is ably assisted by a group of talented flower arrangers. This year’s theme will be Glory of Creation and that will be displayed not only by over 20 colourful floral creations in the church but also by an accompanying show of patchwork quilts in the Parish Rooms where refreshments is also available.
The festival will be officially opened by the Mayor of Seaford Cllr Dave Argent at 11am on Friday June 26. Entry is free come and admire and meet the parishioners. Friday and Saturday 10.30am to 5.30pm and Sunday 2.30pm to 5.30pm
Songs of Paise: On Saturday 27th June at 3pm on Chyngton Recreation Ground, Walmer Road, Seaford. St luke,s and Chyngton Methodist Churches are having an informal Songs of Praise with the Salvation Army Band from Brighton and songs from Fresh Springs worship team. All are welcome, bring a chair. If wet then this will be held in the Methodist Church hall Millberg Road.
