COFFEE MORNING: The coffee morning tomorrow, Saturday, at Polegate Community Centre, is hosted by the Social Section. All welcome in the lounge from 10am to noon.
WALKS: Tomorrow, Saturday, Marshland around Chilley Farm, 5 miles with Mavis M. Meet at Pevensey Market Square, 10am bus 99 Terminus Road to Memorial Hall. Or brisk pace, Hilly Newhaven Round, 8 miles with Clare. Meet car park opposite marina in Fort Road GR 447005. Public house option. Clare will lead an afternoon extension to suit on day. Note there is a regular No 12 bus route to South Way, Newhaven bus stop which is 10 to 15 min walk to start. Note for drivers there is a second car park further down Fort Road. On Sunday 11 mile walk with Tony. Walk via High and Over, Norton and Seaford. Bus stop No 12, 9.37am Terminus Road, to Cuckmere Public House, where walk starts. On Wednesday, an evening walk around the parish with Bob J. Meet bus No 51, 5.28pm Terminus Road to Triangle, Lower Willingdon where walk starts 5.45pm finish at 8pm, hilly optional public house at end.

DAHLIA SHOW: East Sussex Dahlia Show is taking place on Sunday at Polegate Community Centre, from 9am to 5.30pm. In the main hall. All welcome.
DOWNLAND SINGERS: Are still looking for more male voices to join us on Thursday evenings, at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, from 7.30pm to 9pm. Ladies are also very welcome to join us. URGENTLY REQUIRED: More stall holders who sell produce, crafts and other stalls at Trinity Community Market, held on Wednesday mornings at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, Lower Willingdon from 9.30am to 12.30pm. There is no charge to visit the market. Present stalls include card making materials, greetings cards, new local history books, knitted silk scarfs, knitted baby jackets.
