Pevensey and Pevensey Bay

PEVENSEY GHOST WALK: The Ghost walks for Halloween are now over. Thanks to all those who turned up for the public walks on Saturday and Tuesday 31st. In particular a large group came from a Caravan Rally at Fairfields farm in Westham –many dressed appropriately for the occasion with a few Draculas, plenty of Witches and the odd Zombie. Remember Ghost walks are not just for Halloween but run every Saturday at 7.30pm from the Castle Car Park (except this Saturday 4th) More details at

ST NICOLAS PEVENSEY: The Church website advises ‘Restoration work starts again on St Nicolas Church from 11 September. Sadly we will not be able to allow visitors to the Church during this period. It is possible that some Sunday Services may be cancelled or held at St Wilfrids instead. We will do our utmost to keep the Church open. Please check the website and the Church noticeboard for updates’‘

If approved implementation will take between 18 - 24 months - so a long term project. “NO DECISIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO DATE’
