You can report the issues via; www.lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk/environmental-problems/neighbourhood-first/ or using the Smart phone app.
PEACEHAVEN WI: A very stormy day greeted us for our November meeting, but that didn’t stop a good attendance, including one visitor. A report was given regarding a successful ‘snail’ walk to Brighton on November 6. The seven intrepid members who took part had a lovely day and had recovered sufficiently to join the meeting.
We then had a shock to discover from the afternoon speaker that he had apparently picked up the wrong bag when leaving home and subsequently had no projector, slides or notes with him and was unable to present his talk. However, undaunted, our president produced a bingo set and we continued the afternoon.
I hope you will be able to visit us today, Friday, 9am to noon at the Meridian foyer as we are hosting a coffee morning with sandwiches, cakes and a tombola, and above all a friendly welcome. Next meeting is December 5. (Joy Allen).
